Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that a man came from Jayshan, and Jayshan is in Yemen, and asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about a drink they drink in their land, made from corn, called al-mizr. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is it intoxicating?" They said: Yes. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every intoxicant is unlawful, and Allah has made a covenant that whoever drinks intoxicants, He will give him to drink from tinat al-khabal." They said: O Messenger of Allah, what is tinat al-khabal? He said: "The sweat of the people of Hell, or the discharge of the people of Hell."
