باب: من قال في المرتد: يستتاب مكانه، فإن تاب وإلا قتل

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ، بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثنا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، قَالَ: كَانَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ " يَدْعُو الْمُرْتَدَّ ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ، ثُمَّ يَقْتُلُهُ ".
Sulayman bin Musa (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) used to invite the apostate (to Islam) three times and then kill him.
