Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) had seven men of Sana'a who were involved in the killing of a boy executed, and said: If all the people of Sana'a had taken part in it, I would have had them all executed.
Al-Shaykh (may Allah have mercy on him) said: This is the narration of Yahya bin Sa'id (may Allah have mercy on him), while the first was Yahya al-Qattan (may Allah have mercy on him); and in al-Bukhari, four men are mentioned.
