Bayhaqi 15728 — A woman irrevocably divorced has no maintenance unless

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both): "The maintenance of a divorced woman is (due) as long as she has not become unlawful (to him); once she has become unlawful, then (she is owed) a provision (mut'ah) in a fair and customary manner."
