Bayhaqi 15729 — A woman irrevocably divorced has no maintenance unless
اُردوEn
وَقَالَ أنا عَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَطَاءٌ: " لَيْسَتِ الْمَبْتُوتَةُ الْحُبْلَى مِنْهُ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ يُنْفِقُ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ أَجْلِ الْحَبَلِ فَإِذَا كَانَتْ غَيْرَ حُبْلَى فَلَا نَفَقَةَ لَهَا " وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ.
Ata' (may Allah have mercy on him) said: There is nothing for the irrevocably divorced woman; nothing at all, except for the pregnant one: he is to spend on her because of her pregnancy; and if she is not pregnant, she has no maintenance.
