أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أنبأ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أنبأ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، أنا سَعْدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَمَّتَهُ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ كَعْبٍ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَا، سَمِعَتْ فُرَيْعَةَ بِنْتَ مَالِكٍ أُخْتَ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ تَذْكُرُ أَنَّ زَوْجَ فُرَيْعَةَ قُتِلَ فِي زَمَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهِيَ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَنْتَقِلَ مِنْ بَيْتِ زَوْجِهَا إِلَى أَهْلِهَا، فَذَكَرَتْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ لَهَا فِي النُّقْلَةِ، فَلَمَّا أَدْبَرَتْ نَادَاهَا فَقَالَ لَهَا: " امْكُثِي فِي بَيْتِكِ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الْكِتَابُ أَجَلَهُ ".
It is narrated from Yahya bin Sa'id (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sa'd bin Ishaq bin Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah have mercy on him) informed him that his paternal aunt Zaynab bint Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with her) informed him: I heard Furay'ah bint Malik (may Allah be pleased with her), the sister of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), mentioning that her husband was killed in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and she wanted to move from her husband's house to her family. She mentioned that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted her to move. When she turned to leave, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called her and said: "Stay in your house until 'the prescribed term reaches its end' [Surah al-Baqarah: 235], that is, until the waiting period ends."
