وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ الْقُشَيْرِيُّ لَفْظًا قَالَا: نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، أنا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، وَعَطَاءٍ، وَطَاوُسٍ، وَجَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، كُلُّهُمْ يَرْوِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " هِيَ وَاحِدَةٌ بَائِنَةٌ يَعْنِي فِي الرَّجُلِ يُطَلِّقُ زَوْجَتَهُ ثَلَاثًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِهَا " فَهَذَا يَحْتَمِلُ أَنْ يَكُونَ الْمُرَادُ بِهِ إِذَا فَرَّقَهُنَّ فَلَا يَكُونُ مُخَالِفًا لِمَا قَبْلَهُ وَالَّذِي يَدُلُّ عَلَى ذَلِكَ مَعَ مَا مَضَى مَا.
Qatadah narrates from Ikrimah, Ata, Tawus and Jabir bin Zayd that all of them narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "It is one separating (ba'in) divorce," meaning concerning a man who gives his wife three divorces before consummating the marriage. It is possible that what is meant by it is separating them, so it does not contradict the earlier hadith.
