وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا يَحْيَى، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ صُبْحٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ خِلَاسًا الْهَجَرِيَّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ: " كُنْتُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيتُ فِي الشِّعَارِ الْوَاحِدِ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ طَامِثٌ فَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ مِنِّي شَيْءٌ غَسَلَ مَكَانَهُ وَلَمْ يَعْدُهُ وَصَلَّى فِيهِ ".
Khilas al-Hajari says that he heard Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and I would spend the night under one sheet while I was menstruating heavily. If anything from me got on him (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) would wash that spot, not going beyond it, and he would pray in it (that same garment).
