أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا: نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ أَبُو عُتْبَةَ، نا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِسَوْدَةَ بِنْتِ زَمْعَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا: " اعْتَدِّي "، فَجَعَلَهَا تَطْلِيقَةً وَاحِدَةً وَهُوَ أَمْلَكُ بِهَا.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sawdah bint Zam'ah (may Allah be pleased with her): "Observe your waiting period." He (peace and blessings be upon him) made it one divorce, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) remained the one with authority over her.
