أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ نا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، نا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَتْ: كَانَ النِّسَاءُ إِذَا تَزَوَّجَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ أَوِ الرَّجُلُ خَرَجَ جَوَارِي مِنْ جَوَارِي الْأَنْصَارِ وَيُغَنِّينَ وَيَلْعَبْنَ، قَالَتْ: فَمَرُّوا فِي مَجْلِسٍ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُنَّ يُغَنِّينَ وَهُنَّ يَقُلْنَ.
Sayyidah Amrah bint Abdul Rahman (may Allah be pleased with her) says: Whenever a man or a woman got married, the girls of the Ansar would sing and play. Sayyidah Amrah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by that gathering while the girls were singing:
Her husband gave rams as a gift, which are kept in the pen, and her husband is a man among people who knows what will happen tomorrow.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to them and said: "Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah)! No one but Allah knows what will happen tomorrow. Say it like this:
We have come to you, we have come to you; welcome to us and blessings to you."
Her husband gave rams as a gift, which are kept in the pen, and her husband is a man among people who knows what will happen tomorrow.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to them and said: "Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah)! No one but Allah knows what will happen tomorrow. Say it like this:
We have come to you, we have come to you; welcome to us and blessings to you."
