Bayhaqi 14208 — The marriage of one in the state of ihram

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّفَّارُ بِمَكَّةَ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ، أنبأ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ شَيْبَةَ: أَتَزَوَّجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَيْمُونَةَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ؟ قَالَتْ: " بَلْ تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهُوَ حَلَالٌ ".
Maymun bin Mihran (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I asked Safiyyah bint Shaybah (may Allah have mercy on her): Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) marry Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) while in the state of ihram? She said: No, rather he married her while not in ihram.
