أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو النَّصْرِ الْفَقِيهُ، وَأَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْعَنَزِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ، ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، فِيمَا قَرَأَهُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ ح قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو ⦗٣٤٢⦘ عَلِيٍّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَبِيهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُزَوِّجَ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ عُمَرَ بِنْتَ شَيْبَةَ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ لِيَحْضُرَ لِذَلِكَ وَهُوَ أَمِيرُ الْحَاجِّ فَقَالَ أَبَانُ: سَمِعْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَا يَنْكِحُ الْمُحْرِمُ وَلَا يُنْكَحُ وَلَا يَخْطُبُ "، رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى.
Nubayh bin Wahb said: Umar bin Ubaydullah intended to marry Talhah bin Umar to the daughter of Shaybah bin Jubayr, so he invited Aban bin Uthman, the leader of the Hajj. Aban said: I heard Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) say that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The muhrim (one in the state of ihram) should not marry, nor have a marriage contracted for him, nor propose marriage."
