Book of Marriage
باب: من قال: لا ينفسخ النكاح بينهما بإسلام أحدهما، إذا كانت مدخولا بها حتى تنقضي عدتها قبل إسلام المتخلف منهما

وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الضَّبِّيُّ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ عَمَّةَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ أَسْلَمَتْ وَهَاجَرَتْ وَتَزُوِّجَتْ وَقَدْ كَانَ زَوْجُهَا أَسْلَمَ قَبْلَهَا، فَرَدَّهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى زَوْجِهَا الْأَوَّلِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ.
Ikrimah narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the paternal aunt of Abdullah bin al-Harith accepted Islam, emigrated, and then married. Her husband had accepted Islam before her, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned her to the first husband.
