أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ قَالَ: حَجَجْتُ، فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، فَقَالَتْ لِي: " يَا جُبَيْرُ هَلْ تَقْرَأُ الْمَائِدَةَ؟ " فَقُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، فَقَالَتْ: " أَمَا إِنَّهَا " آخِرُ سُورَةٍ نَزَلَتْ، فَمَا وَجَدْتُمْ فِيهَا مِنْ حَلَالٍ، فَاسْتَحِلُّوهُ وَمَا وَجَدْتُمْ فِيهَا مِنْ حَرَامٍ فَحَرِّمُوهُ ".
Abu al-Zahiriyyah narrates from Jubayr bin Nufayr (may Allah have mercy on him), who said: I performed Hajj, then I went to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), and she said: O Jubayr, do you recite Surah al-Ma'idah? I said: Yes. She said: It is the last surah that was revealed; so whatever you find lawful in it, regard it as lawful, and whatever you find unlawful in it, regard it as unlawful.
