أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ، أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنبأ مُسْلِمٌ، وَعَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، يُخْبِرُ أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ، جَاءَ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا فَقَالَ لَهَا: إِنَّ لِي سُرِّيَّةً أَصَبْتُهَا، وَإِنَّهَا قَدْ بَلَغَتْ لَهَا ابْنَةٌ جَارِيَةٌ لِي، أَفَأَسْتَسِرُّ ابْنَتَهَا؟ فَقَالَتْ: " لَا " قَالَ: فَإِنِّي وَاللهِ لَا أَدَعُهَا إِلَّا أَنْ تَقُولِي حَرَّمَهَا اللهُ، فَقَالَتْ: " لَا يَفْعَلُهُ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِي، وَلَا أَحَدٌ أَطَاعَنِي ".
Mu'adh bin Ubaydullah bin Ma'mar came to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and said: I had a slave-woman with whom I had intercourse, and her daughter, (also) my slave-girl, has reached maturity. May I take her daughter as a concubine? She (may Allah be pleased with her) said: No. He said: By Allah, I will not leave her unless you say that Allah has forbidden her. She (may Allah be pleased with her) said: None of my family has done this, nor has anyone who obeys me.
