أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ بْنِ دِعَامَةَ السَّدُوسِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، أَوْ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ سَعِيدٌ: مَا أَرَاهُ إِلَّا عَنْ عُقْبَةَ، الشَّكُّ مِنْ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا ".
Al-Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) or Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him). Sa'id (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I think he narrates it from Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him); the doubt is from Sa'id. He said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any woman whom two guardians marry off, the word of the first will be taken into account."
