Bayhaqi 13666 — Reports on fathers marrying off virgins
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمُزَكِّي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا مَالِكٌ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَسَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، كَانَا يُنْكِحَانِ بَنَاتِهِمَا الْأَبْكَارَ، وَلَا يَسْتَأْمِرَانِهِنَّ.
Al-Qasim bin Muhammad (may Allah have mercy on him) and Salim bin Abdullah (may Allah have mercy on him) used to marry off their virgin daughters and did not even consult them.
