اُردوEn
وَرُوِيَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " مَا كَانَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَشَدَّ فِي النِّكَاحِ بِغَيْرِ وَلِيٍّ مِنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ حَتَّى كَانَ يَضْرِبُ فِيهِ "، أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو خَالِدٍ، ثنا مُجَالِدٌ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ فَذَكَرَهُ.
Through another chain it is narrated from al-Sha'bi that none of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was stricter regarding "no marriage without a guardian" than Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), to the extent that he would impose punishment in this matter.
