حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْعَدْلُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْعَبْدِيُّ، أنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الْبَهِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ: قَالَتْ لِي عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا: " يَا بُنِيَّ، إِنَّ أَبَاكَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْقَرْحُ ".
Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to me: O my son! Your father (al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him)) is among those who responded to Allah and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) after injury had befallen them: "Those who responded to Allah and the Messenger after injury had struck them" [Surah Al Imran: 172].
