Bayhaqi 13021 — What the supreme ruler and the governor of a province

It is narrated from Imam al-Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed Sayyiduna Attab bin Asid (may Allah be pleased with him) as governor over Makkah, he fixed for him forty uqiyah every year.
This is munqati' (its chain is broken), and it has been narrated through another route with a connected chain.
