أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ السُّكَّرِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الشَّافِعِيُّ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْأَزْهَرِ، ثنا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ غَسَّانَ الْغَلَّانِيُّ قَالَ: كَانَ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ " يُبْطِلُ حَدِيثَ: الْخَالُ وَارِثُ مَنْ لَا وَارِثَ لَهُ، يَعْنِي حَدِيثَ الْمِقْدَامِ، وَقَالَ: لَيْسَ فِيهِ حَدِيثٌ قَوِيٌّ " قَالَ الشَّيْخُ: وَرُوِيَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ أَضْعَفَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ.
Yahya bin Ma'in (may Allah have mercy on him) used to consider the hadith of Sayyiduna al-Miqdam (may Allah be pleased with him) invalid, namely: "The maternal uncle is the heir of one who has no heir." He said: There is no strong hadith on this.
