أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَهْرِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سَبْرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ الربيع الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ⦗٢٤٧⦘ عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَزَلَ فِي مَوْضِعِ الْمَسْجِدِ تَحْتَ دَوْمَةٍ فَأَقَامَ ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى تَبُوكَ، وَإِنَّ جُهَيْنَةَ لَحِقُوهُ بِالرَّحْبَةِ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ: " مَنْ أَهْلُ ذِي الْمَرْوَةِ؟ " فَقَالُوا: بَنُو رِفَاعَةَ مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ، فَقَالَ: " قَدِ أَقْطَعْتُهَا لِبَنِي رِفَاعَةَ "، فَاقْتَسَمُوهَا، فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ بَاعَ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَمْسَكَ، فَعَمِلَ ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُ أَبَاهُ عَبْدَ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، فَحَدَّثَنِي بِبَعْضِهِ وَلَمْ يُحَدِّثْنِي بِهِ كُلِّهِ.
Sabrah bin Abd al-Aziz narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stopped under a dawmah tree at the place of the mosque. He (peace and blessings be upon him) stayed three days, then went towards Tabuk, and the tribe of Juhaynah caught up with him at al-Rahbah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them: "Who are the people of Dhu al-Marwah?" They replied: Banu Rifa'ah of Juhaynah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have granted it to Banu Rifa'ah." They divided it among themselves; some of them sold, and some kept it and worked it. (Ibn Wahb said:) Then I asked his father Abd al-Aziz about this hadith, and he narrated part of it to me, not all of it.
