أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ، ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّزَّازُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْفَحَّامُ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ هُوَ ابْنُ عَطَاءٍ، أنبأ ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَأْخُذُ كِرَاءَ الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى بَلَغَهُ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ حَدِيثٌ، فَانْطَلَقْتُ مَعَهُ حَتَّى أَتَيْنَا رَافِعًا، فَحَدَّثَ عَنْ بَعْضِ عُمُومَتِهِ، يَذْكُرُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ " نَهَى عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْأَرْضِ " فَتَرَكَهُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ.
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to take rent for land, until the hadith of Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) reached him. Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I went with him until we came to Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him), and Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from some of his paternal uncles that they reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) "forbade renting out land", so Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) gave it up.
