أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ، أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطِيَّةُ الْقُرَظِيُّ قَالَ: " عُرِضْنَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَمَنَ قُرَيْظَةَ فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنَّا مُحْتَلِمًا، أَوْ نَبَتَتْ عَانَتُهُ، قُتِلَ قَالَ: فَنَظَرُوا إِلِيَّ فَلَمْ تَكُنْ نَبَتَتْ عَانَتِي، فَتُرِكْتُ ".
Sayyiduna Atiyyah al-Qurazi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were presented before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at the time of Qurayzah, and whoever had reached puberty or whose pubic hair had grown, they would kill him. He said: They looked at me, and my hair had not grown, so they let me go.
