وَعَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ: " لَا يَنْتَفِعُ مِنَ الرَّهْنِ بِشَيْءٍ ".
Imam al-Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: No benefit of any kind should be derived from a pledge.
