وَعَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي زَكَرِيَّا، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ، فِي رَجُلٍ ارْتَهَنَ جَارِيَةً فَأَرْضَعَتْ لَهُ، قَالَ: " يَغْرَمُ لِصَاحِبِ الْجَارِيَةِ قِيمَةَ إِرْضَاعِ اللَّبَنِ ".
Imam al-Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: If a slave girl is pledged with a person and she breastfeeds (a child) for him, the one who took her in pledge must pay its value.
