Bayhaqi 10771 — Reports on the slave's property

Ja'far bin Muhammad narrates from his father that Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever sells a slave who has property, the property belongs to the seller, unless the buyer stipulates (otherwise); the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled this. And whoever sells pollinated palm trees, their fruit belongs to the seller, unless the buyer stipulates (otherwise).
