باب: من نذر هديا لم يسمه أو لزمه هدي ليس يجزي من صيد فلا يجزيه من الإبل والبقر الأنثى فصاعدا
Chapter: One who vowed a sacrificial animal without naming it, or owes a sacrifice that is not compensation for game, is only sufficed by a thani of camels or cattle or older

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ، أنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ يَقُولُ: " فِي الضَّحَايَا وَالْبُدْنِ الثَّنِيُّ فَمَا فَوْقَهُ ".
Nafi' narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that for sacrifices and sacrificial offerings (hady), a two-toothed animal or one older than that should be slaughtered.
