قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ فِي الْحَيَّةِ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates the like of it from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the snake.
