ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أنا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ، عَنْ وَبَرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، يَقُولُ: " أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَتْلِ الذِّئْبِ وَالْفَأْرَةِ وَالْحِدَأَةِ " فَقِيلَ لَهُ: وَالْحَيَّةُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ، فَقَالَ: " قَدْ كَانَ يُقَالُ ذَلِكَ " قَالَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ: يَعْنِي الْمُحْرِمَ، الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ لَا يُحْتَجُّ بِهِ، ⦗٣٤٥⦘ وَقَدْ رُوِّينَا مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ مُرْسَلًا جَيِّدًا.
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) "ordered the killing of the wolf, the mouse and the kite." It was said to him: And the snake and the scorpion? He said: That too used to be said. Yazid bin Harun said: Meaning the person in ihram (may kill them).
