أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا يَقْتُلُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ؟، قَالَ: " الْفَأْرَةُ، وَالْعَقْرَبُ، وَالْغُرَابُ، وَالْحِدَأَةُ، وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ " قُلْتُ لِنَافِعٍ: الْحَيَّةُ، قَالَ: الْحَيَّةُ لَا يُخْتَلَفُ فِيهَا، رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي كَامِلٍ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ.
Nafi' narrates from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Which animals may a person in ihram kill? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The mouse, the scorpion, the crow, the kite and the biting dog." I said to Nafi': And the snake? He said: The snake, there is no disagreement about it.
