«اليتيمة تستأمر في نفسها فإن صمتت فهو إذنها وإن أبت فلا جواز عليها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"An orphan girl is to be consulted about her (marriage); if she remains silent, that is her permission, and if she refuses, (the marriage) is not permissible over her."
