«يصبح على كل سلامى من ابن آدم صدقة تسليمه على من لقي صدقة وأمره بالمعروف صدقة ونهيه عن المنكر صدقة وإماطة الأذى عن الطريق صدقة وبضعه أهله صدقة ويجزي من ذلك كله ركعتان من الضحى قالوا: يا رسول الله أحدنا يقضي شهوته وتكون له صدقة؟ قال: أرأيت لووضعها في غير حلها ألم يكن يأثم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Every morning charity is due on every joint of the son of Adam: greeting whomever one meets is charity, enjoining good is charity, forbidding evil is charity, removing something harmful from the path is charity, and having intimate relations with one's wife is also charity. And two rak'ahs of the forenoon (Duha) prayer suffice for all of this." The Companions said: "O Messenger of Allah! If one of us fulfils his desire, will he also receive the reward of charity?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Tell me, if he were to use it in an unlawful place, would he not incur sin?"
