«يصاح برجل من أمتي يوم القيامة على رءوس الخلائق فينشر له تسعة وتسعون سجلا كل سجل مد البصر ثم يقول الله تبارك وتعالى: هل تنكر من هذا شيئا؟ فيقول: لا يا رب فيقول: أظلمك كتبتي الحافظون؟ فيقول: لا يا رب ثم يقول: ألك عذر ألك حسنة؟ فيهاب الرجل فيقول: لا فيقول: بلى إن لك عندنا حسنة وإنه لا ظلم عليك اليوم فتخرج له بطاقة فيها: أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا عبده ورسوله فيقول: يا رب ما هذه البطاقة مع هذه السجلات؟ فيقول: إنك لا تظلم فتوضع السجلات في كفة والبطاقة في كفة فطاشت السجلات وثقلت البطاقة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A man from my Ummah will be called out on the Day of Resurrection before all of creation, and ninety-nine registers will be spread open before him, each register stretching as far as the eye can see. Then Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, will say: Do you reject anything of this? He will say: No, O Lord. Allah will say: Have My guardian angels who record wronged you? He will say: No, O Lord. Then Allah will say: Do you have any excuse? Do you have any good deed? The man will be overawed and say: No. Allah will say: Indeed you do; you have a good deed with Us, and no injustice will be done to you today. Then a card will be brought out for him on which is written: 'Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah wa anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh' (I bear witness that there is no true god except Allah and that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is His servant and Messenger). He will say: O Lord! What is this card compared to these registers? Allah will say: You will not be wronged. Then the registers will be placed in one pan of the scale and the card in the other pan, and the registers will become light and the card will become heavy."
