«يجيء نوح وأمته فيقول الله: هل بلغت؟ فيقول: نعم أي رب! فيقول لأمته: هل بلغكم؟ فيقولون: لا ما جاء لنا من نبي فيقول لنوح من يشهد لك؟ فيقول: محمد وأمته وهو قوله تعالى: {وَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ أُمَّةً وَسَطاً لِتَكُونُوا شُهَدَاءَ عَلَى النَّاسِ} والوسط: العدل فيدعون فيشهدون له بالبلاغ ثم أشهد عليكم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Nuh (peace be upon him) and his nation will come, and Allah will ask: 'Did you convey the message?' He will say: 'Yes, O Lord!' Then Allah will ask his nation: 'Did he convey the message to you?' They will say: 'No, no prophet came to us.' So Allah will say to Nuh (peace be upon him): 'Who will testify for you?' He will say: 'Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Ummah.' And this is the saying of Allah Almighty: 'And thus We have made you the best nation, so that you may be witnesses over mankind' - and 'wasat' means just. So they will be called, and they will testify for him that he conveyed the message, then I will be a witness over you."
