" يجيء النبي يوم القيامة ومعه الرجل والنبي ومعه الرجلان والنبي ومعه الثلاثة وأكثر من ذلك فيقال له: هل بلغت قومك؟ فيقول: نعم فيدعى قومه فيقال لهم: هل بلغكم هذا؟ فيقولون: لا فيقال له: من يشهد لك؟ فيقول: محمد وأمته فيدعى محمد وأمته فيقال لهم: هل بلغ هذا قومه فيقولون: نعم فيقال: وما علمكم بذلك؟ فيقولون: جاءنا نبينا فأخبرنا أن الرسل قد بلغوا فصدقناه فذلك قوله: {وَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ أُمَّةً وَسَطاً لِتَكُونُوا شُهَدَاءَ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَيَكُونَ الرَّسُولُ عَلَيْكُمْ شَهِيداً} "
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A prophet will come on the Day of Resurrection with only one man with him, and a prophet will come with two men with him, and a prophet will come with three or more with him. It will be said to him: 'Did you convey the message to your people?' He will say: 'Yes.' Then his people will be called and it will be said to them: 'Did he convey this message to you?' They will say: 'No.' Then it will be said to that prophet: 'Who will testify for you?' He will say: 'Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Ummah.' So Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Ummah will be called, and it will be said to them: 'Did this prophet convey the message to his people?' They will say: 'Yes.' They will be asked: 'How do you know that?' They will say: 'Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told us that all the Messengers had conveyed the message, and we believed him.' This is the meaning of Allah's saying: 'And thus We have made you the best nation, so that you may be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger may be a witness over you.'"
