«يا معاذ! أفتان أنت؟ فلولا صليت بـ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى} ، {وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا} ، {وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى} فإنه يصلي وراءك الكبير والضعيف وذوالحاجة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O Mu'adh! Are you one who causes trouble (fitnah)? Why did you not lead the prayer reciting 'Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High', 'By the sun and its morning brightness' or 'By the night when it covers'? For behind you pray the old, the weak and the one who has some need."
