«لا يزني الزاني حين يزني وهو مؤمن ولا يشرب الخمر حين يشربها وهو مؤمن ولا يسرق السارق حين يسرق وهو مؤمن ولا ينهب نهبة ذات شرف يرفع الناس إليه فيها أبصارهم حين ينتهبها وهو مؤمن»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The adulterer is not a believer at the time he commits adultery, the drinker is not a believer at the time he drinks wine, the thief is not a believer at the time he steals, and when a person plunders something valuable in such a way that people raise their eyes to look at him, he is not a believer at that time."
