«لا تكتبوا عني شيئا إلا القرآن فمن كتب عني غير القرآن فليمحه وحدثوا عني ولا حرج ومن كذب علي متعمدا فليتبوأ مقعده من النار»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Do not write anything from me except the Qur'an. Whoever has written anything from me other than the Qur'an, let him erase it. And narrate from me, there is no harm in that. And whoever deliberately lies about me, let him take his seat in Hell."
