"إذا قام أحدكم من الليل فاستعجم القرآن على لسانه فلم ¤ يدر ما يقول فليضطجع"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When one of you stands at night (for tahajjud) and the Qur'an falters on his tongue (that is, he cannot recite properly because sleep overcomes him) and he does not understand what he is reciting, he should lie down."
