«من أعتق شقصا من مملوك فعليه خلاصه في ماله فإن لم يكن له مال قوم المملوك قيمة عدل ثم استسعى غير مشقوق عليه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever frees part of a slave, it is binding on him to secure the slave's complete freedom from his own wealth. If he has no wealth, the slave will be given a fair valuation, and then he will be given the opportunity to earn the price of the remaining share without being overburdened."
