«إذا سقطت لقمة أحدكم فليمط ما بها من الأذى وليأكلها ولا يدعها للشيطان ولا يمسح يده بالمنديل حتى يلعقها أو يلعقها فإنه لا يدري في أي طعامه البركة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When a morsel of one of you falls, let him remove whatever dirt is on it and eat it, and not leave it for Satan. And let him not wipe his hand with a towel (or napkin) until he has licked his fingers or had them licked (by his wife or the like), for he does not know in which part of his food the blessing has been placed."
