«إذا زنى العبد خرج منه الإيمان فكان على رأسه كالظلة فإذا أقلع رجع إليه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When a servant commits adultery (zina), faith leaves (his heart) and hangs over his head like a canopy (shade); then when he desists (from that sin), faith returns to him."
