«ما من آدمي إلا في رأسه حكمة بيد ملك فإذا تواضع قيل للملك ارفع حكمته وإذا تكبر قيل للملك: دع حكمته»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"There is no human being except that there is a bridle in his head held in the hand of an angel. When he humbles himself, it is said to the angel: 'Raise his bridle,' and when he behaves arrogantly, it is said to the angel: 'Let go of his bridle.'"
