«إذا التقى المسلمان بسيفيهما فقتل أحدهما صاحبه فالقاتل والمقتول في النار قيل: يا رسول الله هذا القاتل فما بال المقتول؟ قال: إنه كان حريصا على قتل صاحبه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When two Muslims face each other with their swords and one of them kills the other, then both the killer and the one killed will be in Hell. It was asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, this outcome is fitting for the killer, but what is the fault of the one killed?' He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'He too was eager to kill his companion.'"
