«زادني ربي صلاة وهي الوتر وقتها ما بين العشاء إلى طلوع الفجر»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"My Lord has granted me an additional prayer, and it is the witr. Its time is from the Isha prayer until the break of dawn."
