«رباط يوم في سبيل الله خير من الدنيا وما عليها وموضع سوط أحدكم من الجنة خير من الدنيا وما عليها والروحة يروحها العبد في سبيل الله أو الغدوة خير من الدنيا وما عليها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Guarding the frontier for one day in the path of Allah is better than the world and everything on it. A space in Paradise the size of the whip of one of you is better than the world and everything on it. And a single going out by the servant in the path of Allah, in the evening or in the morning, is better than the world and everything on it."
