«الذهب بالذهب وزنا بوزن مثلا بمثل والفضة بالفضة وزنا بوزن مثلا بمثل فمن زاد أو استزاد فهو ربا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Gold for gold, weight for weight, equal for equal; and silver for silver, weight for weight, equal for equal. Whoever gives more or asks for more, that is usury (riba)."
