«ثلاثة يدعون الله عز وجل فلا يستجاب لهم: رجل كانت تحته امرأة سيئة الخلق فلم يطلقها ورجل كان له على رجل مال فلم يشهد عليه ورجل آتى سفيها ماله وقال الله تعالى: {وَلا تُؤْتُوا السُّفَهَاءَ أَمْوَالَكُمُ} »
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Three people supplicate to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, but they are not answered: a man who has a woman of bad character as his wife but does not divorce her; a man who is owed money by another man but did not have witnesses appointed over it; and a man who gave his wealth to a foolish person, even though Allah Almighty has said: 'And do not give the foolish your wealth.'"
