«الإمام ضامن والمؤذن مؤتمن اللهم أرشد الأئمة واغفر للمؤذنين»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The imam is a guarantor and the muezzin is one entrusted. 'Allahumma arshid al-a'immah waghfir lil-mu'adhdhinin' (O Allah, guide the imams and forgive the muezzins)."
